Our strategic metals recycling technology in the spotlight
Mecaware continues to attract media attention!
After several appearances this year, France 3 has devoted a report to our technology for recycling metals from waste batteries.
Broadcast on October 7 on the program "Ici 12/13 Rhône-Alpes", this report highlights the expertise of our teams and our commitment to a more sustainable, circular and sovereign battery industry.
The report looks at the history of blackmass, the black powder produced by shredding waste batteries.
A veritable concentrate of strategic metals, for Mecaware it is a resource to be recycled rather than a waste product.
Our MecaLab laboratory is where we start our trials. Here, our teams implement a process for selectively and efficiently extracting strategic metals (lithium, cobalt, nickel), while limiting the environmental impact, as it generates no waste.
At Mecaware, we see waste not as a constraint, but as a new strategic resource.
This conviction, at the heart of the report, illustrates our vision: battery waste is the mine of tomorrow, at the service of European industrial and energy sovereignty.
This appearance on France 3 pays tribute to the commitment of our teams and the relevance of our technological approach.
We are proud to see our work highlighted and to contribute to the construction of a circular, competitive and sustainable industry.
