FR, Vénissieux
Mecaware produces recycled strategic metals (lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese) from battery waste.
Thanks to our innovative effluent-free process, notably sulfate-free, we limit our impact on the environment and locate our plant as close as possible to the deposits, in situ for Gigafactories.
Our entire team shares a common vision: to transform the battery sector and make the circular economy a reality.
Join us in building a more sustainable and responsible European low-carbon battery industry.
As part of our R&D activities, we are looking for an Analysis Technician to join the Mecaware Laboratory team, which is made up of researchers, engineers, and R&D technicians.
Working alongside your manager and two analysis technicians, you will be responsible for analyzing samples from R&D, our pilot unit, or raw materials (black mass), and will participate in the development of our analysis methods.
Your daily activities are as follows:
Receive samples and/or material and product samples
Propose the sampling and analysis methodology
Prepare products and analysis equipment (XRF, ICP, UV, etc.)
Perform physical and chemical analyses and characterizations
Present your work and results (presentations, reports, etc.)
Participate in discussions on the development and optimization of our analysis methods
The position is available on a permanent contract basis at our headquarters in Vénissieux (accessible by public transport).
Salary range: €28,000 to €30,000 gross per annum
