The position

You will be part of the Sales Department, whose role is to structure our offerings, create partnerships, and guide our customers toward innovative recycling solutions.

Your role will be to develop our recycling activities by helping to establish strategic partnerships with Gigafactories, end-of-life battery suppliers, and various players in the recycling value chain.

💼During this internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop the commercial activities of our multi-technical battery treatment hub by identifying sources of production waste or end-of-life batteries, establishing links with eco-organizations, and identifying relevant contacts among car manufacturers.

  • Identify the right contacts within Gigafactories, present Mecaware, and establish partnerships for recycling their production waste.

  • Establish partnerships for the sale of our products (critical metals) and co-products (aluminum, copper, graphite, iron, etc.).

  • Organize testing campaigns on the entire battery recycling process, in support of technical and sales teams.

  • Contribute to strategic decision-making by developing business plans that incorporate financial analyses of projects and material balances, in collaboration with technical teams.

  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize business opportunities with key players in the battery industry (manufacturers, partners), in connection with our recycling activities.

  • Analyze a market, structure a prospecting approach, and build a coherent sales strategy.

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships throughout the entire sales cycle

  • Design marketing materials and develop sales pitches tailored to technical and economic challenges.

  • Confidently defend Mecaware's value proposition in discussions with customers and partners.

  • Performing financial analyses of projects: evaluating profitability, comparing economic scenarios, and informing decision-making

  • Integrate material balances into business plans, in close collaboration with technical teams

  • Develop interpersonal and negotiation skills in an industrial B2B context.

Profile

  • You are enrolled in a Master's program at a Grande Ecole de Commerce, IAE, or engineering school and are looking for a 6-month internship as part of your studies or gap year.

  • You are known for your communication and interpersonal skills, with a real flair for sales.

  • You are proactive, determined, and eager to develop a business.

  • You are fluent in English and enjoy working in an international environment.

  • You communicate clearly and attentively, and you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

  • It is a plus if you have an interest in energy and industrial issues, as well as knowledge of the battery or energy sector.
